My name is Douglas Stuart and i am a 40 year old Scotsman who for sometime has earned his living through the medium of Internet marketing and Affiliate marketing both terms you may or may not be familiar with.I have for want of a better description during that time operated or done this “Under the Radar” out of public view and without announcing myself to the wider world.However i have recently started this website dedicated to helping people just like you to earn their living online.For those of you totally new to the concept of earning your living online, please allow me then to highlight some very pertinent facts on this subject for your perusal.

Internet based business is today’s fastest growing form of self employment with Thousands of people realizing their financial dreams by creating additional income through the web.Also Anyone who trys to tell you that to start an online business you need thousands of dollars and it should go to them for the privilege of telling you how, is for want of a better description “yanking your chain”. Anyone whether you are young or old, a big- time business person or not, will always have a seat at the Internet Marketing table. Internet marketing is a relatively new field as The Internet itself is a relatively new phenomenon, created within the living memory of most if not all of the people reading this article.Rest assured though Internet marketing is here and here to stay, so why not join in and start making money online as if i can do it literally anyone can ! I have very little if any formal education to speak of having left school at 16, other than a first class honours degree from the University of Life ! However that is the primary beauty and benefit of the Internet in that it has broken down so many of the Educational and Social barriers that most of us have faced during our working lives ! Internet marketing is also relatively inexpensive when compared to the ratio of cost against the reach of the target audience which as we all know is hundreds of millions globally and growing daily.Both companies and individuals can now reach a wide and massive audience for a small fraction of the usual costs of traditional advertising regionally as opposed to worldwide .As i have already said, Internet marketing is no longer the domain of just big companies as moms,dads,grandmothers, grandfathers, butchers,bakers and candlestick makers are all now “Succeeding” with Internet Marketing.You are maybe asking yourself at this point how that is possible for you to do as an individual ? Well things like online affiliate programs,banner ads, e-mail newsletters, Interactive websites, search marketing, and social media have expanded the marketing mix options to allow the smaller man or woman to grab their own piece of the Web.

Affiliate Programs are probably the easiest and least expensive way to make money online as all you have to do is sign up with an affiliate program, let’s say eBay or Amazon as two more well known examples.Affiliate Marketing is basically promoting other companies products and getting a certain percentage by having consumers click on your banner or text link to their site. You can make from 5% to as high as 50%, 75%, or even sometimes higher commission.However the biggest benefit to this form of Internet marketing is that you do not need to create products,websites,ordering systems or ever have to deal with the customers you refer, as the Merchants i.e Amazon do it all for you.

I believe that Internet marketing is far to often shrowded with a wholly undeserved mystique which in most part is down to “Guru” driven hype.If you are totally unfamiliar with Internet Marketing the term “Guru” is a self served or appointed name given by so many so called I.M experts to themselves. Sadly all this does is create the illusion in the minds of most ordinary people ,that you need to have some magic formula to succeed in making money online or thousands resting in your bank account.I am here to tell you that is BS BS BS as all succeeding online is essentially about is people knowing each others interests, values and preferences.Hence,one of the reasons why you may choose Internet marketing as your new way to earn a living could be that you are afterall a human being and we all know something about something dont we .

Internet marketing is about using the Internet as just another channel or option to market yourself,your business or your organization,it is all about broadening your visibility via the world wide market that is the Internet.However the Internet Marketing and Affiliate Marketing business requires discipline,and i can assure you that All success-tricks and get rich quick shemes are total shams invented by people with only one intention in mind and that is to part you from your hard earned money in the fastest possible timeframe.

An additional word of warning for you is that you can find Internet marketing advice in many places, but how much of it can you really trust ? At best, the average person is likely to be overwhelmed by the sheer volume of Internet marketing advice available i know i certainly was.Unfortunately Internet marketing advice is a bit like a roundabout where someone starts to promote a certain aspect of it ,then others get on the bandwagon and regurgitate what was said before them.
